What is the Meaning of “Outer Darkness” In Matthew’s Gospel? (Part 2)
Welcome to Grace in Focus radio. On our pervious episode, Bob and Shawn were discussing the phrase the “outer darkness.” Today, they will continue their discussion on this phrase by looking at Matt 25:14-30. This passage is known as the parable of the talents. Bob will compare this passage to Luke 19, and the parable of the 10 Minus. In addition, the guys will address the context of these passages, and how we reconcile them to the free grace position that salvation is by faith alone in Jesus for eternal life. What is the Meaning of “Outer Darkness” In Matthew’s Gospel?
What does the phrase “outer darkness” mean in the gospel of Matthew? On this episode of Grace in Focus radio, Bob and Shawn will be discussing this phrase in light of the free grace position. We will hear that this phrase only occurs three times, all of which are found in the gospel of Matthew.
