Welcome to Grace in Focus. Today, Bob and Shawn will be discussing John 6:47-58. The guys will be discussing this passage in light of modern-day communion practices. First, the guys will unpack the idea of “eating” the bread of life. We will see that this is a picture of believing in Jesus. Secondly, the guys will address what it means to “drink” the Lord’s blood in this passage. They will show both to be illustrations, and not literal phrases.
