Grace Evangelical Society Seminary

This unaccredited, online school provides courses to equip focused, free grace believers. Students will apply to enroll in one or more classes or to audit a class. There is an option to earn a Master of Divinity (MDiv) for students.

FEES:
At this time, the first semester for each student is free. Students who earn a B or better grade will be able to enroll in a subsequent class for free. Students who do not meet this standard may be assessed a class fee between $50-$150 depending on the country of residence.

SCHEDULE:
A semester will be 12 weeks (Greek, 15 weeks) with one week of orientations before the start of the semester. Greek classes start 2 weeks earlier than the non-Greek classes. There may be some schedule adjustments.

Applications for new and returning students are due 3 weeks before the start of classes.

Students may drop from a class without negative repercussions within the first 2 weeks of class.

EXPECTATIONS:
Generally, enrolled students can expect a minimum of 4 hours of work per week for each class (Greek is more than 8 hours per week), and classes will generally function as follows:

Students may take one or more classes, see “Course Offerings.” However, part-time students are recommended to apply for a max of 2 classes.

Enrolled students will have live discussions with the teacher, access to office hours, feedback on assignments, and free GES published materials. Asynchronous discussions are available for international students who cannot attend any of the live discussions.

Students who want to learn at their own pace and not complete any assignments may apply as an auditor. Auditors will have access to the library of lectures but no access to live discussions, office hours, and GES published materials.

MASTER OF DIVINITY: Students interested in the Master of Divinity (MDiv) program must inform the GESS administrator of their intentions. In order to graduate with the MDiv from GES Seminary, the student must be in agreement with the GES’ Affirmation of Beliefs at the time of graduation, complete all the below courses, taken at least one elective, and have a bachelor’s degree.

MDiv students may be part time and take classes in any order except Greek which must be taken in serial order.

Certificates of Divinity will be awarded to those who do not have a bachelor’s degree. Course credits from other institutions may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
